Brandi Grooms Photography

~ I am the cheese queen! At least that is what my husband says. Ok, my closest friends and immediate family too! Maybe that's because I laugh too hard at my own jokes, and I am not afraid of making myself the brunt of my jokes. I guess I am constantly laughing at myself. I am extremely animated. Yes, I am Italian so my hand gestures are exaggerated, but for some reason I don't stop there. I act out scenarios instead of verbally describing them, and I have sound effects for everything. I tend to use them instead of making complete sentences. I dance to every & any beat, literally... blues, hip hop, elevator music, and even commercial jingles. The other day Jeremy (my husband) caught me dancing to the rhythm of him chopping onions! I get excited about the smallest things. I skip when I get excited, and of course dance! Which means I inevitably end up doing a move that looks like a combination of the "Running Man" and the "Humpty Dance". I think I just dated myself!

Why do I do what I do?

~ Simply put, I love it! I absolutely love making people feel good about themselves. If I can make a person see something in themselves that they have never seen before, or bring out a side of a person that is often hidden for others to realize, my job is done.

I get excited knowing that the "perfect" shot is about to happen, and all I have to do is anticipate the exact moment, snap, and it's documented for everyone else to share in that moment.
